Deleting your DrAtlas account

The DrAtlas app, operated by ALTANET S.R.L.

You can delete your DrAtlas account and its data at any time. Before that, you can download a copy of your data in Profile → Download my data. There are two ways to delete:

1. In the app (immediate)

1. Open the DrAtlas app and sign in.
2. Go to Profile and tap Delete Account (at the bottom of the screen).
3. Confirm with your password. If you signed up with Google or Apple, choose “Get a code by email” and enter the code you receive.
4. Tap Delete account permanently. The account is deleted right away.

Doctors with a paid subscription: you can choose to close the account at the end of the paid period (the default — renewal stops, the account stays active until then and is deleted automatically, and you can cancel the deletion from the same screen until that date) or right away, without a refund of the remaining period.

2. By email (if you no longer have access to the app)

Email hello@medi-max.ro from the address linked to your account, with the subject “DrAtlas account deletion”. We confirm your identity and delete the account within 30 days at most, usually much sooner.

What is deleted

• account and profile data: name, email, phone, date of birth, sex, address, profile photo;
• family members added to the account;
• documents you uploaded and messages, including attachments;
• notification tokens, sign-in sessions and records of emails and SMS messages sent to you;
• content reports you filed.

Upcoming appointments are cancelled automatically and the doctor is notified.

What is kept, and for how long

• The patient record kept by a doctor (medical history, documents uploaded by the doctor) stays with the doctor, who is legally required to keep medical records. It is no longer linked to your account.
• Past appointments stay in the doctor's records, linked to an anonymous entry with no identifying data.
• Reviews you left stay visible without your name.
• Reports received about your account are kept for up to 12 months after they are resolved, for the safety of other users.
• For doctors: your patient records are kept for 90 more days, inaccessible to anyone, so we can hand them over on request, then permanently deleted; billing data is kept as long as tax law requires (up to 10 years), and a cryptographic fingerprint of the phone number is kept to prevent repeated use of the free trial.
• Security logs are kept for up to 12 months.
